At their extraordinary in camera meeting of 15 July 2019 in Strasbourg, Members of the Committee on Legal Affairs will scrutinise the declarations of interests of Estonian and Romanian commissioners-designate Kadri Simson and Ioan Mircea Paşcu.
Two commissioners have stepped down to take up seats in Parliament and MEPs are likely to vote on their replacements on Thursday, 18 July, after holding hearings earlier this week. Prior to this, on Monday, 15 July, JURI Members will look into the declarations of interests of two Commissioners-designate. The meeting will be held in camera.
